I manage the social media accounts, marketing strategies, and analytics for two brands I started. I organize their content calendars for Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
The Golden Musician is a TikTok account I created to share videos of me performing R&B, Pop, and Jazz music on the saxophone. My goal with the brand is to build a community around women in music and be a representative for black female instrumentalist. I recently created a YouTube channel to expand on my mission and sharing longer content there.
Young Method is an online shop that sells handmade jewelry items made with crystals and gemstone. It was created in December of 2016 and I have been running it's social media accounts since then, but have more recently applied my knowledge in marketing and social media to create a strategy for the brand.
I have created marketing strategies for both brands, which includes brand guidelines, relevant keywords, buyer personas, social media audits, and competitor research. I use them when ideating content ideas that are relevant to trends in their industries while also staying true to their missions and intended audiences.
Manage and schedule post for Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube with about 6 post per week or 24-26 post per month
Record and analyze social media channel analytics and make changes accordingly to KPI goals
Write captions that align with the brand’s voice, spark conversations, and use relevant keywords outlined in their marketing plan to promote growth
Creatively edit short- and long-form videos in Davinci Resolve or Canva to encourage engagement
Keep the Young Method website up to date, using SEO to increase traffic
Create and update the marketing strategy for each brand, which includes defining their target audience with buyer personas, keyword research, branding guidelines, competitor research, and content ideas
